Vodafone to bring iPhone 4 to Indian markets by September 2010

Vodafone, leading mobile service provider, has announced to bring the newly launched Apple iPhone 4 to India. The iPhone 4 is expected to hit the Indian market by September 2010 with 87 other countries also. Vodafone also has launched the iPhone 4 in UK. According to the official press statement issued by the company on June 8, 2010, Vodafone Essar will launch the iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the word with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone in India in the coming months.


Though nothing has been officially declared about the pricing but anticipations are high that the phone will come with a price tag of Rs. 40-45,000 in India. It is interesting to note that Airtel was the first company to bring the iPhone to the Indian shores but this time when India is expecting to see iPhone 4, nothing is heard from Airtel as yet.


There has been quite a storm in the gadget markets all over the world regarding Apple’s latest iPhone which is the iPhone 4 that runs on OS4 giving it a faster speed. Few months back Apple CEO Steve Jobs had introduced this latest operating system for the iPhone 4 with some 100 features, unique and fresh to the device. These include the much talked about multitasking, video calling, HD video recording feature and a longer talk time.


The device is also the most eagerly awaited Apple product till date due to its features and a beautiful slim look. The phone boasts of a 3.5 inch 960 x 640 resolution display for crystal clear videos and photos. The phone runs on A4 processor and also comes with a 5MP camera with 5 x zoom.


The camera comes with LED Flash and backside illuminated sensor.  It also has a front facing camera which focuses on you. You can easily switch back and froth between both of them with just a tap of a button. The battery offers 7 hours of talk time on 3G networks and up to 10 hours of video playback with up to 40 hours of audio playback.


So, the makers of iPhone 4 have made it more powerful, easier to use and indispensable than ever making it the biggest thing ever to happen since iPhone.
