Vodafone launches cheapest handset at Rs.799 with an unbelievable features
In its effort to make the mobile technology accessible for the huge and secluded rural population Vodafone has announced its latest VF 150 handset in India at an unbelievable price of just Rs. 799. The VF 150 is the cheapest mobile handset ever offered by any company in India.
We will not be surprised if VF 150 happens to be the world’s cheapest mobile phone. At such a price tag the company has tried to offer maximum features for its rural mobile users together with a facility to be used even by non-Vodafone mobile subscribers.
Among the feature list of the Vodafone VF 150 is its 1 inch black and white display with a 96 x 64 pixels resolution. The phone comes with 5-way navigation key, simple control button and runs on Media Tek Neptune platform. The phone supports voice and text based services and offers a battery life with up to 5 hours talk time and 400 hours standby. The other specification of the mobile phone is GSM 900/1800, polyphonic ringtones, alarm clock, calculator, vibration and torch light.
