Videocon Mobile partners with BuzzCity for games and music related VAS

Videocon Mobile has recently taken new initiatives to strengthen its brand loyalty and increase it customer loyalty. Videocon has not partnered with BuzzCity to provide value added services like games, mobile recipe and music content for its customers across India. The latest initiative is also aimed to differentiate the brand from other competitors in the market.

With the help of new app Videocon will bring out its own feature rich services for its users. These services can be related to mobile games, entertainment, music events etc. Experts believe this will help the company it contain customers break away from its services especially after launch of mobile number portability.

Also the new partnership will help Videocon to go beyond basic value added services of ringtone and wallpapers. Speaking at the launch of the Videocon partnership with BuzzCity, Mr. Sunil Tandon - CMO, Videocon Mobile Services said, "At Videocon, we see ourselves as a key player in the evolving dynamics of the mobile internet media. As a part of our vision of transforming mobile VAS in India that goes beyond just ringtones and wallpapers, this new partnership with BuzzCity has been done to provide more quality avenues for the brand to engage with its consumers."

It is also expected to improving reducing average revenue per user for Videocon. Dr KF Lai, BuzzCity's CEO said, "We're seeing fast-paced change, and strong growth. Stakes are high for the networks, with fierce competition and steadily lowering ARPU."
