It was yet another wardrobe malfunction, but this time with a slight hint of irony, or you can call it comic irony. Katherine Heigl looks stunning in her red dress and walks up the aisle to receive the honor of Female Star of the year at the ShoWest Awards function Las Vegas and -oh my God her dress had a near miss malfunction and the strap on her shoulder snaps. ‘27 Dresses’ actress Katherine had a bad dress day or rather night at the awards function.

But luckily she had Access Hollywood’s reporter Billy Bush around who was hosting the ceremony and lend her a hand to hold that strap as she was on her thank you speech. Later the actress’s representative told Us Magazine, “She appreciates Billy’s ‘support.”

Ugly Truth actress Katherine Heigl, 31, however managed the whole incident gracefully and finished her speech and later laughed at it. After accepting her award she went back stage to pin her dress and returned quickly to oblige photographers with her award in her hands. Later Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush tweeted on his Twitter page, “Oh my. Hosting ShoWest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress snap breaks… I hold her top on while she accepts!”

The former Grey’s Anatomy star left her career in TV to join films and had shared screen with actors like Gerard Butler in the film Ugly Truth. Katherine Heigl will be seen next in her upcoming romantic comedy with Ashton Kutcher, called Killers.
