T-Jet,TJet Plus: Turbo Charged Petrol Engine First Time in India from Fiat
Fiat Automobiles launched on Friday, the turbo charged petrol engine powered Linea T-Jet and T-jet Plus in India. The turbo charged petrol engine is first of its kind in India. These will be available at Rs. 8.84 lakh and Rs. 9.20 lakh respectively in Mumbai. In Delhi, however, the cars are priced at Rs. 8.55 lakh and Rs. 8.99 lakh respectively.
These will be sold initially at Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Pune which accounts for at least half of the sales of these models. “We now have a product which has unsurpassed unmatched quality and safety. We are launching the product in a phased manner.”, Fiat India Automobiles Ltd's President and Chief Executive Officer, Rajeev Kapoor, said.

Fiat added: “Linea T-Jet literally sets a benchmark in the C plus segment with its robust engine and the never ending list of features. Linea T-Jet is sure to give competition in the C plus segment, a run for its money.”The number of Tata-Fiat dealership is now 175 and they are just after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motors.
As regards to the specifications of the car, it comes with disc brakes on all the four wheels as well as a chrome exhaust tip. To add to the charm and style, there are improved plastic trim and leather upholstery. It is powered by a 1.3 liter turbo-petrol engine which goes on to produce 113 bhp at 5000 rpm and 20.2 kgm at 2500 rpm. The mileage for the car is 14.6 km/liter. There is a 50 month warranty as well as a 15,000 km service internal.
