Samsung launches Galaxy S mobile globally, offers apps from Android Market

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., the leading mobile manufacturer welcomes its customers to the ‘Smart Life’ with the global launch of Galaxy S (Model; GT-19000) that aims to make life more convenient, exciting and integrated. At the International CTIA Wireless 2010 Samsung announced that Galaxy S will be available in Europe, North America, Asia, Latin America and Australia very soon.

Samsung aims to allows the users from all over the world to experience the ‘Smart Life’ that promises to change the way users look at smart phones and the way they interact with them in their daily lives. Samsung presents the next level of intelligence in Smartphone by utilizing personal preferences to collect online information required by each user.

Then it makes use of its pre defined daily briefing, lighting fast speed processor and location based search options like Layer Reality Browser so that information is delivered wherever and whenever needed by its users.

The Android powered Galaxy S runs on 1GHz application processor that enables vivacious HD videos, rich augmented reality content through Layer Reality Browser and an advanced Location Based Service. Galaxy S incorporates a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen that offers less reflection, free viewing angles and super fast touch screen.

The screen is derived from mDNLE technology (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) that is used by the company in LCD and LED TVs. The images thus offered are sharper with crispier viewing angles for photos, videos and e-books.

Samsung Galaxy S also offers a variety of apps from Android Market that extends the benefits and excitement of smart phone experience. It also offers access to Google Maps, Gmail and Google Search. The Galaxy S also provides social hub by offering social networking connectivity.

Samsung is yet to disclose the pricing structure of Galaxy S.
