Samsung Galaxy Beam, World's 1st projector phone with amazing specification

Have you heard of the Samsung Galaxy beam recently? Well if not then you have missed one of the most happening news of the evening. The new Galaxy Beam is one of the most advanced phones from Samsung in this series because some of the features of this phone is truly scintillating.

Samsung Galaxy beam smartphone cones with a Pico projector loaded on its back that provides a paltry 6 lumens of intensity. The phone runs the Android 2.1 OS and supports a 3.7’’ super AMOLED display. The camera present in the device is an 8.0 mega-pixel Camera with Auto focus and Flash in addition to this camera on the back, there is another camera on the front that is a VGA.

The phone ropes both the HSDPA/ HSUPA network that supports speeds as high as 7.2 kbps. It supports the 3G technology with kits for both 802.11 b/g/n networks. The phone supposedly contains the accelerometer and the proximity sensor and also includes the Augmented Reality with Layar Reality Browser.

The USB connectivity of the phone is via a USB2.0 port present on the right corner of the device and supports the version 3.0 Bluetooth technology. The phone supports apps for handwriting recognition and support for both English and Chinese RSS reader. The phone supports AllShare (DLNA) and Mobile AP wireless Internet tethering technology. Besides this, the Samsung Galaxy beam also boasts the TV out port that can be connected to any of the TV to view the videos recorded by the device directly on the HDTV.

Samsung Galaxy beam supports a solid battery that supports up to 7 hrs of talk time and a massive 530 hrs of standby time. This phone is expected to be launched in Singapore in July and is expected to cost close to 900 SGD or Rs.30000 approx.! The Beam might not come to India but if you need a projector on a phone, you can very well get this one from abroad! Even if you just want a heavily-specified phone without ever using the projector, this could be the one for you if you don't mind the chunk.
