Nokia X5-0: latest trendy squat QWERTY smartphone to arrive in Q3 this year

At the Nokia Connections Event in Singapore, world’s largest mobile manufacturer, Nokia, has unveiled new handsets, or rather smartphones. One of the phones belongs to the X-series of mobile devices from Nokia, and has been called as the Nokia X5-01. The feature-rich smartphone has been finally announced by Nokia in the event, and has confirmed its launch in Q3 this year.

For the features of Nokia X5-01, the device is short and squat, which does seem to be the rising trend of the times. The phone has been termed as the latest music device and comes with a full QWERTY keypad and is accompanied by 1000 music tracks collection space. The smartphone also features good quality music and enhanced supports for social-networking sites.

This is what has been stated by Nokia at its press release for the X5-01, "The unique, square slider design makes it a perfect device for teens who enjoy Facebook, chatting, games, music and staying in touch with their peers in unlimited ways."

The memory support of the device is another eye-catcher, and it is provided with a 2GB internal memory, which is expandable to up to 32GB, just enough to pacify seekers with great storage requirements. The device shall also include the Nokia's Comes with Music, which provides unlimited music and song downloads and provides admittance to oodles of tracks.

A special feature of the Nokia X5-01 is something called the “Surprise Me”, which actually enables the user to switch to any random track, from the current one playing, just by a spin of the phone. Quite new and trendy! Adding to the trend-factor of the device are the vibrant hues the phone is available in, and is expected to come for euro 255.

"At Nokia, we aim to satisfy a broad range of customers around the world. MeeGo is our platform for high-end mobile computers.
