Nokia N9 and Nokia E6-00 likely to appear at MWC 2011 in Feb

Nokia N9, Nokia E6-00 Price

The yet to be announced Nokia E6-00 and Nokia N9 may get an unveiling at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2011. Nokia E6-00 is expected to be a BlackBerry look alike in the E5 style while anticipations are high that N9 will be an N8 successor with a slim down body.

The rumors about the N9 got ground when Nokia blogger Josue Gimenez tweeted that Nokia #N9 will be announced in the MWC. The launch of latest addition to Nokia’s E series, the E6-00 is yet to be officially announced but as MWC is nearing many hope that Nokia will unveil the E6-00 alongside the N9.

One major thing that is important for Nokia N9 is that the phone will be Nokia’s first MeeGo handset and will possibly come with a 12 MP camera, 4.3-inch touch screen and will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1.2 GHz processor. We still are not very sure about the specs of this handset but many believe that the memory of this phone may vary from 512 MB to 1GB to 64 GB. The handset will not have a slide out QWERTY keypad.

Now talking about the Nokia E6-00, very little is known about the features of this phone except that it would be another Symbian ^3 baby with 640 x 480 VGA resolution screen and 8 MP camera with dual LED flash. We still have no images of this phone and the handset design is still a big mystery. But since we think that the phone will be a BlackBerry look-alike we can assume it to come with a slide out QWERTY keypad and 4-inch touchscreen like the E7. The other anticipations about the specs of this phone are Blautooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, ARM CPU and WCDMA/HSPA.

Mobile World Congress which runs from Feb 14- 17 are just weeks away and until then we can only make anticipations about these two new Nokia handsets.
