Nokia N8 price in India

Nokia N8 was shipped into the country for a review of the product couple of weeks back. The N8 is clearly the best Nokia Nseries device that Nokia and Symbian users both deserve and will appreciate. The blue version of the phone was sent for a review. It is said that many iPhone or Android owners will be switching to the N8 because the Symbian^3 OS is not familiar to them. The N8 must keep all of the existing Symbian owners satisfied. The hardware is so good that others may actually think of giving the device a chance.

Nokia’s Nseries packaging has been some of the best of any smartphone. It keeps on getting slimmer and more stylish over the years. The N8 comes in a blue box; on opening the first flap we can see the phone embossed N8. There is a small card with the N8 that shows the doors for the SIM card and microSD card. There I s a plastic tray placed under phone which contains all the other accessories. An A/C adapter, USB to microUSB cable, wired stereo headset, USB-to-Go adapter cable, HDMI adapter cable, and the regular pamphlets for the device.

The N8 come with a 3.5 inch display capacitive AMOLED touch display with 16.7 million color support. Symbian^3 operating system with integrated 16 GB flash memory and microSD card is the operating system for the model. 680MHz ARM 11 processor along with 3D Graphics, HW Accelerator with OpenGL-ES 2.0 support are the details provided for the mobile geeks. It comes with a 12 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash and a front facing VGA front facing camera. Dual microphone, Wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and FM transmitter, 3.5 mm headset jack are few of the other features of the phone.

The only draw back of the phone is the non availability of Facebook in it. There is no design for Facebook usability for social networking addicts. The N8 can be ordered on the Nokia USA site for $ 549 which is around 30 K in the Indian currency. It also has a full voice navigation suite with support for offline navigation around the world too.
