Nokia launches the not so expensive touchscreen smartphone, C5 and is simple to use and covers all most all the special features as it is expected to do. Nokia C5 is sleek, convenient, and modern and it offers a variety of options to remain connected to friends and family members at a price of around Rs 10,700 (approx). The phone will run on Symbian version operating system.


The Nokia C5 mobile is stylishly designed and the lay out is smooth and delightful to use. It has attractive exterior and 2.2 inch screen with the support of millions of color options is a real delight. A 16GB memory card provides space for extra storage. Connectivity is provided with Bluetooth version 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate, High-Speed USB 2.0 (micro USB connector). The charging via USB supported and it also has a 3.5 mm AV connector.


The phone offers the option of instantly accessing the popular social network and one can easily update his/her status and profile messages. Email services with Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and Gmail are available in the phone with Nokia Messaging. An account from Ovi mail can also be created which can be accessed via the PC or the phone. Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger also allow chatting with friends at any time.


The 3.2 megapixel full focus camera with autofocus and LED flash lets one to capture images more sharply. Access to Youtube and Flickr also enables one to upload images and videos. Video calls from friends and family can also be enjoyed.


Ovi maps with free Walk and Drive navigation, free guides from Lonely Planet are the added charming features of Nokia C5. It includes real time traffic information, lane assistance, speed limit warnings and automatic re-routing to arrive at the desired destination. Detail maps from over 70 countries and a built in A-GPS makes navigation and finding ways out easier.


Nokia C5 mobile measures 105.8 mm x 51.0 mm x 13.8 mm (L x W x H) and weighs 93g. such a feature makes it a bit similar to the size of forthcoming C6-01, and quite a bit smaller than the Nokia N8 or C7. It is claimed that 1000mAh battery on the phone will provide 25 days of standby, 11.5 hours of talk time and 35 hours of music playback. Nokia C5-03 is expected to hit the Indian market by end of 2010.

i got this mobile recently.. i found sending and deleting option in images and all... but in music player i didnt find send and delete option... can anyone tell how to send or a song

i think c5 in terms of the design competes with other brands in the market today. touch screens are in, and with this innovation C5 belongs to the want-to-buys
