Jailbroken iPads and iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS can run Flash with new App

The iPad owners who are upset over Apple not allowing Flash in iOS have reasons to smile. Comex, has developed a new app for jailbroken iPads that will allow the iPad users to run Flash in their Mobile Safari Browsers. The app is still in its early stages and is not stable enough for release to the public at large.

But Comex says that the company plans to make this app available to public in near future and therefore has decided to make the app available on GitHub that allows an opportunity for the developers to improve the software for iOS so that it becomes reliable and made available to public.

Frash, as it is called, will be made available on the iPhone4 and iPhone 3GS as well. It is the result of enthusiast community which ensures that the users get Flash on their iPad and iPhones which is otherwise denied by Apple’s iOS platform. The three Apple devivces namely iPad, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 have sufficient RAM to run Flash smoothly in the mobile Safari browser.

The absence of Flash from the highly talked about devices of Apple has bought disappointment among the users but as Comex has developed the app, Frash and it becomes easier to import Flash on the iPad once you comfortably jailbreak the device. Frash is actually a port of the Adobe Flash plug-in that is available for Android devices and will run on only jail broken iPads in Safari Mobile by way of a compatibility layer.

Currently Frash will run on iPads but once Comex finds a solution to its performance stability, even iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS would be supported by it. Comex is currently working on keyboard and video supports to make it more stable till then let’s hope that Frash successfully runs of the three devices in future.
