HTC Aria smartphone with Android and Sense UI unveiled

AT&T unveiled the HTC Aria, it’s yet another Android based phone that runs on Android 2.1 and has HTC Sense UI. HTC Aria is scheduled for release on June 7th, 2010. Being an Android phone it comes with features such as Google Talk, Gmail, Google Maps Navigation and YouTube apps together with Twitter apps, Peep and Footprints. The Aria is 3G ready and comes with an integrated Wi-Fi.


HTC Sense UI offers some of the attractive user interface features like the music player interface. The device supports MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, OGG, MP4, 3GP and WMV. It comes with a built-in FM radio and is equipped with a 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor. The smartphone comes with a 5 MP camera that has many options like settings for brightness, saturation, ISO and contrast. The camera comes without a flash light.


The other not to be missed features of HTC Aria are speed dial, smart dialing, text and multi media messaging and speakerphone. The phone also supports Bluetooth v2.1 with stereo Bluetooth. It comes with Andoids WebKit HTML Browser, Adobe Flash Lite and a support for multiple windows.


HTC Aria smartphone is 4.6 inch tall which is contrary to the other popular smartphone and is just 2.3 inch wide so that it easily slips into the pocket. The phone is comfortable in hands and boasts of its compact size and travel –friendly features. The screen is 3.2 inch with 320 x 480 pixel resolution and capacitive touch screen capabilities offering pinch to zoom multi touch gestures.


The one feature that distinguishes HTC Aria from the race of other smartphones is its HTC Sense UI that provides a nicer users experience on the phone.
