Audi is ahead to rule sports car segment with Audi R8 5.2 FSI
The luxury car market will soon be adorned with new addition of luxury car being introduced by German luxury carmakers on Monday. Audi unveiled its powerful sedan Audi R8 5.2 FSI with V10 engine in Indian market. Its earlier version Audi R8 5.2 FSI with V8 engine has already been acknowledged and awarded with World Performance Car award in 2008.
It has been an exhilarating experience for sports enthusiasts so far. And now Audi R8 5.2 FSI is all set to storm in luxury car market after its grand launch.
The fastest-growing luxury brand in super sports car segment Audi R8 5.2 FSI is equipped by a powerful V10 Quattro engine and built using the lightweight Audi Space Frame (ASF) design. Aluminum is used in the ASF design that keeps the cars weight around 210 kg.
However, it control and handling is up to the mark as per Audi standards. The Audi R8 5.2 FSI will be available with a manual six-speed transmission or R tronic which enables the driver to change gears in an instant via rocker switches on the steering wheel.
Audi, the powerful car with sporty design, goes from zero to 100 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds, boasting of a top speed of 316 km/h. Apart from its speed the exterior of the Audi R8 5.2 FSI is refreshed with newly designed side blades to increase air intake and maximize performance. Audi’s all-LED headlights come as standard.
Precisely stitched interiors for leather packages add to the luxuriousness of the segment defining Audi R8 5.2 FSI. Audi R8 5.2 FSI comes with a permanent all wheel drive option and has features like launch control available with both types of transmission. The stunning Audi R8 5.2 FSI is priced at Rs.1,32,49,000.

Thereafter, they are ahead with three more versions of Audi that will be introduced in Indian market at regular intervals through out the year 2011. They will launch the Audi A8 with a larger wheelbase by the end of January. Then Audi A7 will be unveiled in May-June and later in the fourth quarter of 2011 they will introduce Audi A6.
